Our Backstory
Founded in 2021 by Abigail Keith, the Idaho Homelessness Impact works to provide resources to help improve the lives of our homeless community here in Boise Idaho. Our volunteers work to make long lasting changes in the lives of others, while creating a safe and welcoming environment for members of the community.

Eliminating the Stereotype
A common stereotype portrayed in media and other sources is that individuals who are unhoused are dirty or unsafe or be around. In reality, many people experiencing homelessness are just like you, but they are facing circumstances that cause them to struggle. Although issues such as addiction contribute to homelessness in Boise, they account for only about 20% of the homeless population. At IDHI we think everyone deserves a second, third, or fourth chance at having a good life. We strive to help people who are going through these hard situations feel human again.
